The certification reflects ABSTO’s unwavering commitment to promoting economic empowerment, inclusivity, and equal opportunities in South Africa.

The transition from a Level 8 to a Level 4 compliant company has been a testament to ABSTO’s dedication and tremendous efforts across all facets of the business. Throughout this transformative process, ABSTO has implemented a range of initiatives that have made a tangible impact on the company’s BEE compliance. These initiatives encompass various aspects, including skills training, learnerships, donations, BEE procurement, and stock programmes.

One of the key initiatives undertaken by ABSTO was a comprehensive skills training program, which proved to be a significant driver of their BEE transformation. Over the course of two years, ABSTO engaged in a Skills Development Program specifically designed for 18 members of their production facility. This programme focuses on enhancing and upskilling staff in roles related to quality control, maintenance, waste management, and output optimisation.
